211 Washington: You can call 211 or use their online database here to search for resources in your local area. 211 has an extensive, but not exhaustive, list of resources and can be a good place to start your search for community resources.
Council for the Homeless (Clark County): Contact the housing hotline at (360) 695-9677 to learn if rental assistance is available. The hotline is open Monday-Friday 9 am-8 pm and weekends and holidays from 11 am-5 pm.
Eviction Defense
Northwest Justice Project: The Northwest Justice Project provides free legal assistance to low-income renters facing eviction. Complete the online intake here or call 1-855-657-8387.
Clark County Volunteer Lawyers Program: If you live in Clark County and are concerned about being evicted or need help talking to your landlord, you can contact the Clark County Volunteer Lawyers program by calling 360-334-4007. Learn more here.
Union-Based Legal Assistance Programs: Union members may have access to legal services through their union or the Union Plus program that their union participates in. We strongly encourage union members facing eviction to reach out to their unions to find out if they have access to a lawyer or legal assistance program.
Food Assistance
Clark County Food Bank: Clark County Food Bank partners with 50+ organizations to distribute food at over 100 sites across Vancouver, Battle Ground, Woodland, and greater Clark County. Income verification is not required. Find a location near you and more information here.
Washington SNAP Online Application: Apply for food benefits through the Supplemental Nutritional Assistance Program (SNAP) online here or visit your local DSHS Community Service Office to apply in person.
