Every year, as part of our annual Presents From Partners program, we hold a unionwide toy drive competition to prepare to support union families experiencing hardship through the holiday season.

2025 Toy Drive information:

  • Deadline to complete the toy drive competition sign-up form is Wednesday, October 15th

  • After you fill out our registration form, we will get in touch with your designated contact person about any physical or digital supplies you requested

  • Toy box pick up & delivery will take place the week of October 20th thru October 24th

  • You can collect toys anytime from now until the deadline of December 8th

  • Toy drop-off windows will be Monday, December 8th, from 8-10 AM & from 2-4 PM

  • We will get in touch with you before the end of the competition to give you the address

  • Please let us know ASAP if your group needs to drop off any of your donations any other time so we can work together on a plan

  • Toy drive results - including the winning team and how many families were served - will be announced in the New Year, as soon as we clean up the toy room! We will email participants first, then post online for the public.

Toy drive results:

In 2024, ILWU Local 8 was crowned the toy drive champion and was presented with a trophy to keep for the year. Operating Engineers 701 snagged second place and third was tied between LiUNA 737 and Ironworkers 29.

However, it is because of widespread support across the union community that we were able to serve over 300 union families this year for over 40 local unions, apprenticeship, and pre-apprenticeship training programs. Thank you to all other participating unions:
